HEALTHY COOKING FOR EVERY BODY
Mondays,  April 1, 8, 15, 22, 29, 10 am

Pamela Holbrook from the Franklin County Cooperative Extension office will be giving cooking and nutrition classes. Each week, we will cook a recipe, have some free food and learn more about eating healthy.

TELEPHONE BINGO
Tuesdays,  April 2, 9, 16, 23, 30   2 pm

Download 2 Bingo cards from the Internet, call the Center and ask us to mail you 2 cards, OR stop by the Center and pick up cards. On any Tuesday about 2 pm call (859-474-2189) from your phone—either land line or cell phone. Cheryl will tell  you what to do.

BEGINNING GLITTERBUGS
Tuesdays,  April 9, 16, 23, 30 at 1:30 pm

Come join Sylvia and others as they learn beginning dances. You don’t need a partner; just need a love of dancing.

GLITTERBUGS
Tuesdays, April 9, 16, 23, 30 at 2:30 pm

Once you learn some basic dances, you can join this group, learn new dances and perform.

BIBLE STUDY

Bring your Bible and join Kenna King as the group studies the Bible.
 

GRIEFSHARE
Thursdays, April 4, 12:30—2 pm
 
Have you suffered the loss of an important person in your life? Are you having a hard time coping with this loss? Does your grief feel overwhelming? Perhaps being part of a 13-week Griefshare group here at Capital City Activity Center would be helpful. Pastor Ken Mills from Graefenburg Baptist Church and others will lead the group as they discuss what’s normal in grief, how to handle difficult emotions, and what to do with regrets, questions and worries. If you’re interested in participating, call the Center, 502-223-5794, to sign up.  Group meets on Thursdays, 12:30 – 2 pm, January 11 through April 4.

DIABETES SELF-MANAGEMENT
Mondays, April 1, 8, 15, 22, 29, 10 am

Debbie Bell, Franklin Co. Health Department will lead the diabetes classes designed for individuals with diabetes and/or family members who want to learn how to best manage diabetes. This program addresses the 7 Self-Care areas: healthy coping, healthy eating, being physically active, taking medications, problem solving, monitoring blood sugar, and reducing risks.

BGCAPP w/Lindsey Miley
