Exercise with Karen - Monday & Wednesday, 10:30 am
This 45-minute class is designed to help increase strength, range of motion and flexibility for people of all skill levels. Each person has a chair which may be used for the whole class, balance exercises, or whenever necessary.
Tai Chi for Arthritis - Monday 2 pm; Friday, 12 noon
If practiced regularly, Tai Chi for Arthritis can benefit seniors in several ways: improved balance, decreased risk of high blood pressure, improved physical strength, improved sleep quality and better overall physical and emotional well-being.
Chair Yoga - Thursday, 10:15 am
Chair Yoga, which can be done while seated or standing, helps to improve muscle strength and flexibility, balance and coordination without risking muscle strain. Chair yoga also helps to reduce stress since the movements are meditative and promote relaxation.
Yoga - Friday, 1 pm
If practiced regularly, Yoga improves strength, baland and flexibility; helps you gain more energy and brighten your modd; and helps you manage stress through relaxation.
